Peoria has led the way in manufacturing for centuries. From its beginnings as a major site for distillation in the 1800s, to the mass-manufacturing of penicillin in the 1940s, and today with the advanced tractor technology pioneered at Caterpillar, the world is Peoria-Made.
By establishing Peoria as a global biotech hub, we will draw people to build here, growing the local economy and creating thousands of high-paying jobs. Hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue will be injected right back into the Peoria economy.
